This mod adds a variety of visual settings that are included in Unreal Engine 5, included in the game's code, but isn't exposed in the game's settings menu.
Settings added
• Motion Blur Target FPS: Set the target FPS for motion blur velocity scaling[/*]
• Motion Blur Max: Set the maximum motion blur length, in percentage of the screen's width[/*]
• Motion Blur Scale: Artificially scale the motion blur length[/*]
• HDR Enable: Enable or disable HDR output[/*]
• HDR Max Luminance: Maximum display output, in nits (cd/m^2)[/*]
• HDR Mid Luminance: Display output, in nits (cd/m^2), for 18% gray. This controls the overall brightness curve of HDR content[/*]
• HDR UI Luminance: Display output, in nits (cd/m^2), for UI elements[/*]
• HDR Output Device: Format of the display[/*]
• HDR Color Gamut: Color gamut of the display[/*]
Installation instructions
• Install UE4SS for Subnautica 2
Ensure you have the latest version of UE4SS for Subnautica 2 installed in your game directory, per the installation instructions on the UE4SS for Subnautica 2 mod page.[/*]
• Install Mod Settings for Subnautica 2
This mod requires the latest version of the Mod Settings for Subnautica 2 framework installed, otherwise there will not be any way to change the settings provided in this mod. See the installation instructions on the Mod Settings for Subnautica 2 mod page.[/*]
• Install Extra Visual Settings
Download this mod, extract the 7z file, and place the ExtraVisualSettings folder into Subnautica2 Subnautica2 Binaries Win64 ue4ss Mods.You should find a file called enabled.txt at Subnautica2 Subnautica2 Binaries Win64 ue4ss Mods ExtraVisualSettings enabled.txt if the mod has been installed correctly.[/*]
Note: If the Extra Visual Settings category doesn't show up in the Mods section of the settings menu the first time you launch the game after installing the mod, quit the game and launch it again. This is an issue with the Mod Settings for Subnautica 2 framework and cannot be fixed by me.
