Subnautica 1 PDA Voice

Description

This mod replaces the default PDA voice with subnautica 1's PDA voice

Keep in mind this was generated using tts so there may be pronunciation issues

Note: There are some bugs with the subtitles when entering a base.

Another Note: There may be more bugs.

Installation instructions

Extract the zip file into the ue4ss mods folder. 

Launch the game once, then close it. Then launch it again.

Uninstallation

Delete: `Subnautica2 Binaries Win64 ue4ss Mods PDAClassicStyle`

Go to: `Subnautica2 Content FMOD Desktop`

v_0.2 and above

Delete this file:

  `voiceover_PDA_EN.bank`

Rename the backup file (already made by the mod) back to it's original name:

  `voiceover_PDA_EN.bank.classic_pda_original.bak` -> `voiceover_PDA_EN.bank` 

v_0.1

Delete these files:

  `voiceover_PDA_EN.bank` 

  `pda.bank` 

  `ambient_PDA.bank`

Rename the backup files (already made by the mod) back to their original names:

  `voiceover_PDA_EN.bank.classic_pda_original.bak` -> `voiceover_PDA_EN.bank` 

  `pda.bank.classic_pda_original.bak` -> `pda.bank` 

  `ambient_PDA.bank.classic_pda_original.bak` -> `ambient_PDA.bank`
