Easy to use utility to generate mod files that customize various gameplay parameters like toolbar slots, health, oxygen, hunger, power generation, etc.
Usage
• Download the tool.[/*]
• Put it wherever you want, preferably in a folder, you could even put it in Subnautica2 Content Paks ~mods for convenience.[/*]
• Make whatever changes you want to the game's parameters.[/*]
• Press the Generate mod button. The mod files will be generated where the program's .exe is.[/*]
• Move all the files generated by the tool to Subnautica2 Content Paks ~mods. If there's no ~mods folder in there, you need to create it.[/*]
Notes
I'd appreciate it if you don't upload mods generated by the tool. Creating the tool took time and effort. I created it so that end users can conveniently modify their game to their liking and not so modders can generate and publish mods with no effort.
If you want to type a value instead of using the sliders you have to press the Enter button on your keyboard after typing the value for the value to be set. So you type the value, press Enter and then the slider moves to the corresponding position.
All of the sliders default to the game's default value. Hovering over the sliders shows a tooltip with default, min and max value.
You can move the sliders to change the value or type a value in the entry next to the sliders. You need to press the Enter button after typing a value for it to take effect.
Some parameters have an "Unlock" checkbox next to them. Enabling this unlocks the upper limits of the specific parameter, for example oxygen can go up to 100 by default, but if you click the checkbox next to it you can go up to 1000.
Currently everything uses the names found in the game's file, but they should be descriptive enough. I'll maybe change them later or use something like a tooltip with an explanation.
The mod files generated by the tool modify the files UserGame.ini, GE_Starve and GE_Dehydrate. This means that it is incompatible with any other mod that modifies the same files.
You probably need to install python for the tool to work.
