Water Slug Respawn
Normally in vanilla Subnautica 2, once you pick up a water slug, it’s gone forever from that save.
This mod changes that by making water slugs respawn after a set amount of time, so you can come back later and collect them again.
By default, the respawn timer is 5 minutes.

What this mod does
• Picked-up water slugs will respawn after the cooldown expires.[/*]
• Respawned slugs get a fresh unique ID, so the game treats them as brand new pickups.
• This means they still work properly even if you kept the original slug in your inventory.[/*]
[/*]
• Slugs always respawn in their original world locations.[/*]
• Only water slugs are affected — nothing else in the game is changed.[/*]

Configuration
You can edit the settings in:
Scripts/config.luaAvailable options:

• Time before a slug respawns.[/*]
• Default:
300seconds (5 minutes)[/*]
[/*]
• CheckIntervalMs
• How often the mod checks for slugs ready to respawn.[/*]
• Default:

Save-safe
This mod only uses direct reflection writes and does not use console commands, so your save will not be marked as cheated.
It also doesn’t permanently modify your save data. If you uninstall the mod, water slugs simply go back to behaving normally.
